2021 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance: V8 power joins new IS lineup

The Lexus IS F is back, although it has a different name. What hasn’t changed, however, is the impressive level of performance we can expect from the new 2021 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance.

Like the old IS F, the new IS 500 F Sport performance will be powered by a mighty 5.0-litre V8 engine that delivers 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. This will be enough to power the IS F Sport Performance in under 5.0 seconds.

Special touches reminiscent of the IS F are also included such as the rear twin stacked exhaust tips. A raised hood, dark chrome window trim and exclusive 19-inch Enkei wheels also give the new IS 500 F Sport Performance a distinct and menacing look.

The new 2021 Lexus IS was designed and engineered using a new track built specifically for it in Japan, and the new IS 500 F Sport Performance model was designed there as well. We can expect exceptional handling and breathtaking performance that doesn’t come at the expense of comfort or safety. The new IS 500 F Sport Performance model will also get advanced safety features included in the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suite of driver assistance technologies.
