Lexus Extra Care Protection: Ultimate Peace of Mind

When you buy a new Lexus vehicle, you are protected in an extraordinary way by a comprehensive warranty that offers even more than what customers expect. However, it is always possible to take the protection clauses to another level and this is what the Lexus Extra Care program does. The latter has six components.

1 – Travel interruption assistance

If you are more than 80 km from your home and your Lexus breaks down, the Extra Care Protection program will cover your hotel and meal costs as well as transportation up to $ 100 per day to a maximum of $ 300.

2 – Rental vehicle assistance

With your Lexus base warranty, you're covered for a rental car if your vehicle needs to stay at the dealership for an extended repair. As a bonus, the ECP adds compensation of $ 60 per day for a maximum of 5 days to cover your rental expenses.

3 - Roadside assistance

With your new Lexus vehicle, you get four years of roadside assistance coverage. With the ECP program, protection is extended to cover the duration of your purchase or lease contract, with no mileage limit.

4 - Mechanical protection

The mechanical protection clause is similar as it extends beyond the original 48 months/80,000 km to cover the period of your contract. So, if you have a 72-month plan, your powertrain is protected during that time.

5 – Tire protection

This is one of the most interesting coverages in the program, because it protects your tires against damage that can be caused by the road, and this, over a period of 36 months/50,000 km.Protection includes installation and balancing, too.

6 - Trip planning service

Finally, an interesting and personalized tool is the trip planning service. By giving Lexus experts a 10-day notice and providing your travel itinerary, you will be sent a package including road maps, route options, points of interest to visit, accommodations, and a list of Lexus dealers on your route.
