The 2025 Lexus RX Series: Two New Grades Elevate the Lineup

The 2025 Lexus RX Series brings exciting updates to one of Canada’s most beloved luxury SUVs, including the introduction of two new grades: the RX 350h F SPORT Design and the RX 500h Black Line Special Edition. With 16 distinct models to choose from, the RX lineup continues to offer something for every driver, starting at a base MSRP of $60,130.

New Additions for 2025

The RX 350h F SPORT Design brings sporty styling to the hybrid RX lineup. Building on the RX 350h Premium package, this model includes 21-inch F SPORT performance alloy wheels, F SPORT grille and bumpers, F SPORT exterior design accents, and a unique F SPORT Design badge. This new grade combines the hybrid powertrain’s efficiency—246 horsepower and 6.5L/100 km combined fuel efficiency—with bold styling, making it a standout choice for drivers seeking both performance and sophistication.

The RX 500h Black Line Special Edition is a limited-production model based on the high-performance RX 500h F SPORT Performance 3. It features a Black Aero Kit, unique five-spoke black-finished wheels, orange brake callipers, interior contrast stitching, Black F SPORT floor and cargo mats, and illuminated door sills. The RX 500h Black Line combines advanced performance with striking aesthetics. It is powered by a 367-horsepower hybrid system with DIRECT4 all-wheel drive. With a fuel efficiency rating of 8.6L/100 km, this model is as efficient as it is dynamic.

Standard Features Across the RX Lineup

The 2025 RX introduces a 12.3-inch multi-information display as standard equipment across all models. This upgrade complements the Lexus Interface multimedia system, featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice-activated commands. Available in 9.8-inch and 14-inch touchscreen configurations, the Lexus Interface also offers connected services, including Service Connect and Drive Connect, ensuring a seamless experience on every drive.

Safety remains a top priority, with every RX equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This suite includes advanced features such as a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Additional standard systems include a Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking.

Powertrain Options

The 2025 Lexus RX offers four powertrain configurations to suit various driving preferences. The RX 350 features a 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 275 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and full-time AWD, offering 9.9L/100 km combined fuel efficiency. The RX 350h employs a 2.5L self-charging hybrid system, delivering 246 horsepower and achieving 6.5L/100 km combined efficiency.

The RX 500h is equipped with a high-performance hybrid system that generates 367 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with DIRECT4 AWD and offers 8.6L/100 km combined efficiency. Finally, the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid achieves an equivalent fuel efficiency of 2.8L/100 km and offers a 60-kilometre electric-only range.
