We raised $20,750 for Backpack Buddies!

Many children in British Columbia rely heavily on school meal programs during the weekday, but on the weekend, they face food insecurity until school starts again on Monday.

With inflation raising the costs of food in 2022, this has made it especially difficult for British Columbians to provide food for their families. Steep price increases can be seen in staple food items, such as oatmeal (+53%), chicken noodle soup (+41%) and juice (+33%).

Last quarter, our #ReggieFromRegency Philanthropy Campaign partnered up with Backpack Buddies to help eliminate the “weekend hunger gap”. We’re happy to announce that we raised $20,750.00, which will go towards providing vulnerable children with healthy meals and snacks. Thank you to everyone who supported our Q3 2022 fundraiser!
