We raised $25,000+ for BC Children's Hospital Foundation's Oncology Initiative!

According to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF), 130 kids are diagnosed with cancer every year in British Columbia.
Despite all the advancements made in cancer care, one in five kids diagnosed with cancer relapse, fail to respond to current therapies, or are unable to survive the aggressive side-effects of the treatments meant to save them. Majority of kids who survive cancer still suffer from long-term side effects, and require mental health and medical support for many more years.
Driven to help change these outcomes, Regency Auto fundraised for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Oncology Initiative through their #ReggieFromRegency Philanthropy Campaign in Q3 and Q4 2021.
We’re proud to announce that we raised $25,200.00, which will go directly towards:
- Supporting world-leading experts at BC Children’s Hospital who are researching transformational advances in cancer care;
- Supporting genetic screening and targeted, personalized therapies specifically built for patients bodies and their cancerous tumours;
- And funding mental health and medical support programs to all oncology patients and their families.
We’d like to thank each and every guest who supported our fundraiser. Support came from guests who made individual donations and from every vehicle sale (a $25 donation was made on behalf of every customer).
