We raised $30,000+ for Canadian Mental Health Association!
August 19 2022,
Hi Vancouver!
How has your mental health been? If you haven’t felt the best lately, just know that you’re not alone!
When choosing a charity to fundraise for in Q2 2022, we wanted to select a cause that resonated with our employees and guests. Mental health is a topic that many of us can relate to – especially during a time of uncertainty stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA):
- 38% of Canadians say their mental health has declined due to COVID-19;
- 24% of parents say their child’s mental health is worse due to COVID-19;
- 46% of Canadians say they feel anxious and worried due to COVID-19;
- And 54% of affected Canadians avoid seeking help due to affordability concerns and stigma associated with mental health.
We partnered up with CMHA British Columbia to help eliminate barriers to seeking help and reduce stigma around mental health. We’re happy to announce that our #ReggieFromRegency Philanthropy Campaign successfully raised $30,150.00! We’d like to thank everyone who supported our Q2 fundraiser, as all proceeds go towards providing free mental health and mental illness recovery-focused services to people in British Columbia.
We’re continuing to support local charities every quarter by donating $50 for every vehicle that we sell. This quarter we're fundraising for Backpack Buddies, a local charity dedicated to ensuring BC's most vulnerable children have access to good quality food.
You can make a minimum donation of $50 and receive a FREE #ReggieFromRegency panda plushie as a token of our appreciation. To learn more about our philanthropy campaign, Click Here.
